Help & FAQ

Everything you need to know about the product and billing.

How does Ephoryn identify billing-based churn risk?

Ephoryn analyzes billing events from Stripe or Paddle. It scores observable signals such as failed payments, paused or canceled subscriptions, downgrades, retry patterns, and billing inactivity. AI only turns those deterministic signals into a human-readable explanation; it does not decide the score.

Is my customers' data secure?

Ephoryn accepts a restricted read-only Stripe key or a Paddle API key used only to validate the connection, while signed webhooks supply billing events. Provider credentials are encrypted at rest. Ephoryn cannot create charges, issue refunds, or modify customer billing data.

Can I connect multiple Stripe accounts?

Currently, our plans support one active connected payment provider account at a time. If you run multiple SaaS products under different Stripe accounts, you will need a separate workspace.

How do I cancel my Ephoryn subscription?

You can manage or cancel your Ephoryn subscription at any time by navigating to 'Billing' in your dashboard and clicking 'Manage Subscription'. This opens the secure Paddle customer portal, where you can update payment methods or cancel.

Do you support Paddle or LemonSqueezy?

Ephoryn currently supports Stripe and Paddle billing data. You can connect a Paddle account to track churn risk for Paddle-billed customers. LemonSqueezy is not available yet.

Does Ephoryn recover failed payments automatically?

No. Payment recovery products retry charges, update cards, or run dunning flows. Ephoryn is the complementary prioritization layer: it identifies and explains the accounts showing billing-based churn risk so your team knows where to intervene, including voluntary-churn signals that a retry alone cannot solve.

What does Ephoryn recommend after it detects risk?

Ephoryn turns the account's observed billing signals into a practical next review step, such as checking the provider recovery flow, reviewing a subscription change, or supporting a new account. These recommendations are deterministic guidance for your team; Ephoryn does not contact customers or change billing data on your behalf.

What are the Arranque usage limits?

Arranque tracks up to 500 customer accounts and includes up to 2,000 AI-enhanced explanations per calendar month. When the AI quota is reached, deterministic scoring and evidence-based fallback explanations continue; new customer accounts beyond 500 are not added until capacity is available or the plan changes.

Will Ephoryn import my historical customers and events?

Not at launch. Ephoryn starts from signed billing events received after you connect your active Stripe or Paddle source. Arranque does not include historical backfill. Existing tracked accounts continue to be evaluated as new events arrive.
